MAY 3, 2005 - LOS ANGELES Direct from winning the Tribeca Award for Best Film Made in NY, first time feature filmmaker Georgia Lee will present the West Coast premiere of "RED DOORS" starring Jacqueline Kim, Tzi Ma, Elaine Kao,Kathy Shao-lin Lee and Mia Riverton on Thursday May 5 as the closing night gala film for the VC FilmFest 2005. The event will take place at the Aratani Japan America Theatre located at 244 South San Pedro Street in Little Tokyo in Downtown Los Angeles beginning at 7:00 PM.

On May 5, audiences in Los Angeles will have the first chance to see what all of Gotham was raving about last week. In addition to the screening of RED DOORS, the gala closing night will also feature the festival award ceremony, a silent auction and a dessert celebration following the film's premiere. Join filmmaker Georgia Lee and her cast along with all of the VC FilmFest 2005 filmmakers on this very special evening.
